During the 17th annual CEE Retail Awards, hosted by EuropaProperty, our company was once again recognised. An independent panel of retail industry professionals awarded Rossmann the title of Retailer of the Year. The CEE Retail Awards Gala was exceptional, highlighting the strength and dynamism of the Central and Eastern European retail industry. Participants congratulated the winners on their remarkable achievements and expressed their hope for an even more inspiring edition next year.

Positive consumer reviews about Rossmann

We are one of the three brands about which Polish consumers heard the most positive feedback in 2023, according to the YouGov BrandIndex survey conducted by the Inquiry agency between January and December 2023. Over 9,000 respondents took part in the survey.
Among other questions, the respondents answered the one asking: “Which brands have you heard something positive/negative about in the last 2 weeks?”. The most positive opinions were collected by Allegro (48% net – after subtracting negative and neutral responses that did not mention the brand name), followed by Lidl (35.5%) and Rossmann (32.5%).

Rossmann as the most popular retail chain

Our company took first place among drugstores in the “Popularity Ranking of Retail Chains,” gaining a significant lead over Hebe, Super-Pharm, Natura, DM and Lush. This means that Poles are planning their drugstore shopping exactly at Rossmann.
The ranking was published for the ninth time by Listonic (an app for creating shopping lists and browsing promotional offers). It is created by analysing lists titled with the name of a particular brand. Rossmann had a 92.66 percent share of shopping lists in its category. Second place was taken by Hebe (6.04%) and third by Super-Pharm (0.72%).

Rossmann is one of the strongest brands in Poland

In 2023, Rossmann was the second most recognizable brand among Poles, according to the YouGov BrandIndex.
Poles, according to the study made by Inquiry agency, are committed to brands and pay attention to where they shop, whose products they buy and whose services they use. In the YouGov Best Brands 2023 ranking, the podium included: 1. Allegro (57.5 percentage points), 2. Rossmann (42.1 percentage points) and 3. Lidl (41.4 percentage points). The next places were taken by: E. Wedel, Winiary, Blik, Lubella, Pudliszki, Milka and Biedronka.
The YouGov Best Brands ranking is based on the YouGov BrandIndex. Respondents answered six questions that addressed: opinions, recommendations, quality, value, reputation and satisfaction with a given brand.

Medal for the president of Rossmann on the occasion of the birthday of Lodz

Marcin Grabara, President of the Management Board of Rossmann SDP sp. z o.o., was honoured by the City of Łódź Office with a medal issued on the occasion of the 600th birthday of Łódź. Mayor Hanna Zdanowska awarded medals to 600 people who made outstanding contributions to the city. Among the awardees were: social activists, managers, sports activists, journalists, doctors and academics.
In 2023, Lodz celebrated its 600th anniversary. Rossmann, which this year celebrated its 30th anniversary of operations in Poland, has been associated with Łódź from the very beginning. Our first drugstore was established here, and Lodz is home to the company's headquarters and our largest warehouse.

Superbrands

Once again, we have won a distinction boasted only by the strongest brands in Poland. To join this elite group, a brand must be recognised by consumers, who determine its value in professional opinion surveys. The second component is the assessment of brand value by a group of branding experts. In addition to recognition and effectiveness, it is also extremely important to pay attention to relationships with others, innovative activities and the area of social responsibility.
The Superbrands statuettes have been awarded for 17 years, and the motto of this edition is “Good Choices”. Brands created in the spirit of fair trade, with respect for human rights and the natural environment, were particularly appreciated.

Rossmann as the TOP brand

Once again, we have become the most media-friendly brand among pharmacies and drugstores in Poland – according to the TOP Brand survey conducted for years by the industry bimonthly “Press”. This is the largest study of brand media coverage in Poland.
The study assesses the effectiveness of communication activities. The key indicator is brand strength, which consists of: the number of brand mentions, reach and sentiment index. In the case of Rossmann, the strength of the brand was estimated at 625,421 (Hebe was next at 259,153). Rossmann had 84,184 publications in the monitored period, with a reach of 277,290,105 and a high sentiment index of 2.26). We were followed by: Hebe (48,328 publications), Sephora (24 , 909), Super-Pharm (10,261) and Douglas (12,544).

Drugstore of the Year

In the 14th edition of the Drugstore of the Year competition organized by “Cosmetics News” (“Wiadomości Kosmetyczne”), consumers decided that we were their “favourite drugstore where they buy cosmetics.” We also received a distinction for the best marketing communication with customers.
The ranking is part of the “Cosmetics Distribution Channels in Poland 2023” study. It was conducted on a sample of 1,000 panelists, commissioned by the wiadomoscikosmetyczne.pl portal by the Mobile Institute research company. According to the study, consumers buy beauty products mainly in drugstores and perfumeries (44%), but also in discount stores (32%) and grocery and industrial stores (27%).

Rossmann is the largest employer in the Lodz province

Rossmann took the first place as the employer with the largest number of employees in the province of Lodz. Among companies with the highest revenues, we took third place. The winner was PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna SA - Belchatow, and the second was JTI Polska sp. z o.o.. – Stary Gostkow.
Companies were awarded for their achievements in 2022 in four different categories, for the highest: 1) revenue, 2) employment, 3) revenue dynamics and profitability, and 4) investments.
The award was presented at the “Golden Hundred of Lodz Province” gala organized by the publisher of “Dziennik Lodzki”.

Blix Awards times four

At the "Blix Awards - Consumers' Choice" gala, we won as many as four statuettes in the following categories: “Pro-Social Company of the Year” for CSR activities and supporting local initiatives, “Promotion of the Year” for the best promotional actions, frequently used discounts by customers, as well as promotions where the ratio of lower price to product quality is very favourable, “Innovative Company of the Year” for faster, better and cheaper shopping (self-service checkouts, Rossmann PL app) and “Healthy Food - Offer of the Year” for a wide range of healthy food.
The gala is organized by the Blix Group, owner of popular shopping applications.

Retail Champion for the second time

Our success was determined by satisfaction with purchases, interesting assortment and high level of service. Customers also appreciated the discounts and personalized offers provided by their participation in the Rossmann Club. Rossmann's new technologies were also highly rated: the Rossmann PL mobile application, the online drugstore, and solutions in stationary drugstores (such as self-service checkouts).
The Retail Champion title is awarded based on the results of consumer research conducted by GfK Polonia. The Institute used the Net Promoter Score, a tool measuring customer loyalty, and a survey where respondents answered the questions: do they recommend shopping at a given company and why do they recommend it?

Applause for Rossmann

The statuette is a thank you for the patronage of the Kamil Mackowiak Theatre. Thanks to Rossmann's support, 102 performances were staged at the Lodz theatre last year, despite all sorts of difficulties. For us, in turn, patronage was one of the forms of celebrating our 30th anniversary in Poland.

Love Cosmetics Award for fighting menstrual poverty

The award was given in the #PROUDLY SUPPORTING WOMEN category for the “Menstrual Pads at School for Every Girl" campaign, which aimed to counter menstrual poverty. According to a report prepared by the Kulczyk Foundation, one in five women struggles with the problem. As part of the 2021 and 2022 editions of the campaign, more than 3 million menstrual pads worth a total of PLN 900,000 were distributed to 320 schools in Poland, along with ready-made materials for educational classes.
Rossmann’s partner in the “Sanitary pads at school for every girl” campaign was the Kulczyk Foundation.

Overall Retailer for dynamic expansion

Experts in the real estate industry recognized us for our dynamic expansion, and the competition jury pointed out that despite the high uncertainty in the real estate market, we are successively opening new drugstores in Poland. In 2022, we will launch more than 100 of them, reaching a total of 1,670 drugstores in Poland.
The awards were given in 35 categories, and several hundred retail-related companies competed for them, including retail park owners, supermarket chains, clothing companies and cosmetics brands.

Influencer's Choice Poland 2022 for our brands

Rossmann brands won in two out of forty-five categories in the third edition of the Influencer's Choice Poland contest, which evaluates cosmetics and natural products.
In the “Hair Styling and Care Accessories” category, the winner was For Your Beauty's curler, which allows you to create dream waves without using heat. The roller comes in packaging made from renewable resources and is recyclable.
Manufaktura Piękna (the “Beauty Manufacture”) won in the “Beauty Balance” category. It's an award that is especially gratifying because the brand was intended to be unique by design and, according to the motto of its creators, “Created with love, packaged with tenderness and served with joy.”

Digital Excellence Awards 2022 for Communication Systems

We received the award in the “Digital Capabilities” category for using digital opportunities in communication with customers and employees. Thanks to 5,000 monitors in drugstores and 1,600 screens in the back rooms, we reach millions of customers and several thousand employees with information.
The competition was organized by Digital Excellence and CIONET Polska.

Rossmann as a patron of culture

We received the title of Leader of Cultural Responsibility of Business for our activities in favour of culture. The originator of the award is the LodzArte Foundation, established by representatives of companies associated with the Lodz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The award presentation was the culmination of the Business Cultural Responsibility Week organized by LodzArte.

Best Quality Employer 2022 for Rossmann

We were awarded the title for the working conditions we offer and for providing employees with development opportunities. In the opinion of the competition jury, Rossmann is a stable and reliable employer that provides a transparent career path, an extensive training system and an attractive personal development program. Numerous benefits were appreciated, including the company's passion development program “Pozytywnie Zakręceni”(“Positive Vibes”), an attractive social package - subsidies for holidays and summer camps, Christmas and baby bonuses.

Love Cosmetics Awards for our brands

Cream deodorants from Beauty Manufacture and Me+ acid serum were recognized in the prestigious Love Cosmetics Awards competition, organized by the editorial team of Wirtualne Kosmetyki. According to the jury, our products represent above-average quality and bring benefits desired from the perspective of the modern consumer.
Cream deodorants attracted particular interest: “Lato w Prowansji”(“Summer in Provence”) and “O Mój Rozmarynie” (“O, My Rosemary”) by Beauty Manufacture, as well as Me+ face serum with polyglutamic acid 1%, serum with tranexamic acid 2.5%, face serum with niacinamide 10% and zinc 1.5%. Both, Beauty Manufacture and Me+ are Rossmann's own brands.

Rossmann as a socially responsible organization

The jury of the Drogeria Roku 2022 (Drugstore of the Year 2022) ranking awarded Rossmann two awards: in the “social responsibility” category for the “We help women as best we can” program and assistance to Ukraine, and “the fastest following of eco-trends”. The fact that the second topic is key for the company is expressed through the initiative of Czujesz Klimat?, (Feel the Climate?) the effects of which customers can see during a visit to a stationary or online drugstore. Our goal is to gradually change customers' shopping habits so that decisions are made with the natural world in mind, where we all live and for which we are all jointly responsible.
The competition was organized by the editors of “Wiadomości Handlowe” (“Commercial News”) and “Wiadomości Kosmetyczne” (“Cosmetic News”).

Rossmann honoured twice as an employer

Our company received the Friendly Workplace 2022 and “Solidny Pracodawca Roku 2022” (“Reliable Employer of the Year 2022”) awards. The competition juries appreciated the current, constantly developed projects, as well as the new ideas that we implemented during the pandemic. Attention was paid to the “First Time Manager” program (6 editions, 66 participants), aimed at department managers and allowing them to exchange experiences, and “Managerial Shots” (34 editions, 420 participants) - short but intensive meetings on team management.

Rossmann as the most popular drugstore
Our company is the clear leader among drugstores, according to the “Ranking of the popularity of retail chains in Poland” for 2021 prepared by Listonic. As many as 61 percent of Poles admitted in the survey that they are most likely to go to drugstores for cosmetics. Of this group, 92.6% of respondents declared that they planned to do their cosmetics shopping at Rossmann. Second in the report was Hebe, whose share in shopping lists was 4.34%. Third was Super-Pharm with a share of 2.19%.
Rossmann as the best employer

Rossmann is the best perceived employer among retail chains in Poland, according to the YouGov Reputation 2022 ranking based on the popular YouGov BrandIndex survey. We overtook Allegro, as well as the Empik chain of stores.
Rossmann's reputation index was 31.3%. (Allegro gained 29.4 percent and Empik 22.5 percent). The next places were taken by: Apart, Sephora, Lidl, Douglas, IKEA, Zara and W. Kruk.
The highest rating of Rossmann as an employer is influenced by, among others, a number of benefits for employees, such as: private medical care, sports cards, co-financing of summer camps for children or the possibility of pursuing one's hobby as part of the “Pozytywnie Zakręceni” (“Positive Vibes”) program.

Alterra with the award

Our brand, Alterra, received a distinction in the “facial care – cleansing” category in the Influencer’s Choice Poland plebiscite, a competition aimed at selecting the best cosmetics and natural products. Over 400 proposals were submitted for the 2021 edition, and the evaluation criteria were the compliance of products with the eco philosophy, environmental friendliness, the zero-waste idea and the high demands of eco-consumers. The jury was impressed by the simple and pure composition of Alterra's BIO algae make-up remover oil.

Rossmann as the strongest brand

Rossmann turned out to be the best in the “grocery and drugstore chains” category in the YouGov BrandIndex – Retail Rankings prepared by the Inquiry agency. Our company achieved a result of 48.2%. Second place was taken by Lidl (47%), and third by Biedronka with a result of 37.4%. The top five also included: Kaufland (28.9%) and Auchan (20.9%).
The ranking was calculated based on the average of six indicators. Respondents answered questions about: the quality of the products offered, satisfaction with shopping at the store, the price/quality ratio of the assortment, the brand's recommendation to other consumers, reputation as an employer, and overall opinion of the store.

Rossmann as a reliable employer

Our company won the title of Reliable Employer 2021 for its rich social offerings for employees, its “Pozytywnie Zakręceni” (“Positive Vibes”) program for developing their passions, as well as its activities for those in need and those involved in the fight against pandemics.
The competition committee was very impressed by the company's activities for its employees (private medical care, sports passes, packages for children, school packages, subsidizing camps and summer camps, retraining courses). Our offer of internship and apprenticeship for students and university graduates was also appreciated.

Rossmann eagerly recommended by customers

The online drugstore rossmann.pl, as well as the Rossmann brand, are among the TOP 10 most frequently recommended companies by Polish customers, according to the YouGov Recommend 2021 Poland ranking, prepared by YouGov in cooperation with Inquiry.
The first place in the Polish ranking, according to customers, went to Cukiernia Sowa. Second place went to Allegro (84.6%), and third to the online drugstore rossmann.pl (81.9%).
The YouGov Recommend Top 10 list includes not only big brands, but also local businesses that are constantly working on their relationships with customers.

Rossmann as a valued brand

For another year in a row, Rossmann was among the five strongest brands in the “Meaningful Brands” report. It was prepared by Havas Media Polska. The study showed that consumers are looking for brands that can actually change their lives. They require them to act for the benefit of the environment and the planet (73% of respondents). A large group of respondents (71%) are tired of the lack of consistency: brands say one thing and do another. Customers appreciate companies that are considered socially responsible, as 64 percent of respondents buy their products.
The TOP 5 awards in the “Meaningful Brands” report were given to: Allegro, Google, Samsung, Rossmann and E. Wedel.

Rossmann as the strongest brand

Rossmann turned out to be the strongest brand among drugstores according to the Shopper Trends '21 study. The research was conducted by the American company NielsenIQ.
The Shopper Trends ’21 report measured the brand strength of various retailers in individual sales formats. Among drugstores, customers most often pointed to Rossmann, in the hypermarket category - Biedronka, and in the convenience store format - Żabka.
The survey was conducted online in February 2021 on a representative sample of 1,520.

Domol as the best washing powder

Domol, our own brand washing powder for white fabrics, won first place in the UOKiK test. Domol proved to be the most effective in removing stains.
The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has checked the quality of washing powders for white fabrics. The office examined 10 products of different brands. The research lasted from December 2020 to February 2021. The stain removal efficiency, the effect of the powder on the strength and shrinkage of the fabric after washing, and whether the weight of the powder is consistent with the manufacturer's declaration on the package were all checked. Specialists also calculated the cost of one wash with a given product and evaluated the ratio of product quality to price.

Rossmann PL awarded for development

An innovative approach to sales, automation of the sales and cash register process and even easier use of the Rossmann PL application: this is how the Mobile Trends Awards jury justified awarding us the main prize in the “Commerce - application development” category. Rossmann was recognized for creating a new function in the company's application, Rossmann GO, enabling contactless shopping using a smartphone.
In addition, we won third place in the “Internet Users' Special Award” category. Similarly to the jury, internet users appreciated the advantages of Rossmann GO.

Superbrands 2021

We received the Superbrands 2021 title in the “Drugstores” category. This title is awarded to the strongest and best perceived brands by consumers on the Polish market. The survey is conducted every two years and is the largest study of brand strength in Poland. The ARC Rynek i Opinia Research Institute (ARC Market and Opinion) conducted a survey among 10,000 consumers about over 2,000 brands.

The “Rzeczpospolita” Award

“Rzeczpospolita” compiled a list of leaders in the FMCG industry (fast moving consumer goods) who stood out during the pandemic, i.e., in 2019-2020. We received a special award for the company's activities aimed at ensuring maximum safety for employees and customers, as well as a distinction “for implementing innovative solutions in retail/wholesale trade”, for innovative facilities such as the introduction of self-service checkouts in every drugstore or a new function in the application: Rossmann GO, thanks to which customers can make safe, contactless purchases (scanning codes with their own phone and paying online).

Babydream nappies highlighted

Babydream nappies by Rossmann took first place in the ranking of disposable nappies for children prepared by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection checked 10 brands of nappies in size “3” designed for children weighing between 4 and 10 kg. The nappies have undergone many tests. They turned out to be the best in terms of how long the nappy absorbed the liquid and how much moisture it gave up (it gave up the least amount of moisture after being submerged in the liquid). The pH of the nappy material was assessed as normal. Our product also performed well in the test checking the tear-off strength of the fastener.

Alterra with Influencerʼs Choice Poland 2020 award

Alterra's bamboo toothbrush won in the “natural hygiene” (dental hygiene)" category. Almost 100 companies entered the first edition of the Influencer’s Choice Poland 2020 natural cosmetics competition, and the jury had to review approximately 300 products.
The highest marks were awarded to environmentally friendly products that are in line with the zero-waste philosophy and meet the high demands of eco-consumers.

Rossmann as the Top Brand 2020

Our company turned out to be the strongest brand in the ranking of pharmacy and drugstore chains as it received the title of Top Brand 2020. This is according to the largest brand media analysis on the Polish market, carried out by the “Press” magazine and PRESS-SERVICE Media Monitoring.
Top Brand is a title confirming the brand's affiliation with the most media brands in Poland and an excellent recommendation for clients: the image in the media is one of the key elements allowing to assess the potential, value and strength of the brand.

Rossmann in Manufaktura as the Drugstore of the Year

Our flagship drugstore in Manufaktura in Łódź, reopened in June 2020, won the prestigious title of Drugstore of the Year, beating Hebe, Kontigo and Super-Pharm.
The jury appreciated the interior design of our drugstore: a green moss wall, wooden floors and stone sinks (you can wash off the tested products there). The jury also recognized the unique assortment of this drugstore, including a refill station for refilling bottles of shampoos, hand soap and home care products.
The Drugstore of the Year competition has been organized for 12 years by Wydawnictwo Gospodarcze (“the Economic Publishing House”): “Wiadomości Kosmetyczne” (“Cosmetic News”) and “Wiadomości Handlowe” (“Commercial News”).

Rossmann as the Patron of Culture of Lodz

Our company received the title of Patron of Lodz Culture from the Mayor of Lodz, Hanna Zdanowska. The city honoured us for our long-standing support of two city festivals: Light.Move.Festival. and Łódź Czterech Kultur (Lodz of Four Cultures). Rossmann was awarded in the large enterprise category.

Promotional Newspaper of the Year 2019

Our promotional newspaper received an award and the title of Promotional Newspaper of the Year 2019 in the 1st edition of the industry program “Blix Awards - Consumers' Choice”. Promotional publications of 84 networks operating in Poland were evaluated by over 80,000 people.
For more than six months, user feedback was collected from several of the market's largest mobile apps that aggregate promotions. Poles were asked which promotional newspapers are the most graphically and aesthetically clear, as well as the best profiled for the expectations and needs of consumers. Among drugstores, Rossmann won the most recognition.

Rossmann as the most popular online drugstore

Our online drugstore is among the top three most popular e-commerce sites in Poland. In the Inquiry agency ranking, Rossmann came third on the podium – 12% of survey participants declared they used our online drugstore.
The ranking was developed based on a YouGov BrandIndex survey conducted on a sample of 662 people.
First place in the ranking was taken by Allegro (53% of respondents declared they used this service), second place was won by the advertising website OLX (13%).

Rossmann best on Google Maps

Our company took first place in the ranking of the best retail chains based on customer ratings on Google Maps. Stores with more than 100,000 ratings were considered. Rossmann received an average rating of 4.37 (on a 5-point scale), ahead of Lidl and Dino.
The analysis covered 60,000 stores, and the ranking was developed based on assessments of stationary stores.

For Your Beauty Sponge Award Winning

For Your Beauty's brush cleaning sponge won a special award in the “Accessories” category. The Styl.pl editorial team appreciated its simplicity and usefulness – thanks to the sponge, you don’t have to use several brushes when applying makeup, you just need to clean one after each application. Styl.pl also noted that the For You Beauty sponge is not only a great helper in everyday make-up, but also a good solution for trips. This is because it is enclosed in a practical metal box.

Rossmann as a friendly place to work

Our company won the Friendly Workplace 2020 special award in a competition organized by the website markapracodawcy.pl. The promotion of the idea of work-life balance, taking care of relations with employees, training, as well as ecological and health-promoting activities were appreciated.

Rossmann as the best rated retail chain

This is the result of the Retail Proposition Index 2019 ranking prepared by the consulting company OC&C Strategy Consultants. Poles considered Rossmann to be the best retail chain overall and unrivalled in terms of: customer trust, quality of service and appearance of stores. Customers also rated Rossmann very highly in other categories taken into account in the ranking. They awarded our company second place in terms of: convenience of shopping and quality of products offered in drugstores, fifth place in terms of: good value for money and wide assortment, and sixth place in terms of "being trendy.".

Poland's strongest retailer

The strongest brand among all stores in Poland is Rossmann, according to the YouGov BrandIndex survey conducted by marketing research agency Inquiry. Lidl and Empik were also on the podium. The survey found that Poles are attached to brands and are willing to buy from well-known chain stores.
Respondents answered six questions (yes or no answers) that addressed: opinion, recommendation, quality, value, reputation and satisfaction with the given brand. The difference between positive and negative responses was then summed and divided by the number of questions asked. YouGov BrandIndex has been conducted for 10 years in over 43 countries.

Rossmann as the leader among drugstores

We are still the strongest brand among drugstores and pharmacies, according to the Top Brand 2019 survey conducted by the bimonthly magazine Press. We have no competition, especially when it comes to the number of texts and mentions and their reach to the audience.
As many as 50 different industries were considered. In creating the brand strength index, the editors took into account: the number of publications about a given brand (Rossmann was mentioned as many as 104 thousand times!), their reach and the share of positive mentions.

Poles are familiar with Rossmann online drugstore

Nearly 70 percent of surveyed Poles know the brand of some online drugstore. Most people pointed to Rossmann's e-store, according to the report “E-commerce in Poland. Gemius for e-Commerce Poland”. Participants were not given a list of different drugstores to choose from. Their task was to spontaneously identify a brand offering online shopping. The leader of such spontaneous familiarity is Rossmann (32 percent of indications), followed by companies: Douglas (19 percent), iPerfumy and Sephora (15 percent each). Further down the list were: Hebe, Drogerie Natura, Allegro or Avon.

Rossmann Drugstore of the Year 2019

The title of Drugstore of the Year went to Rossmann once again. This time in three categories: the most innovative drugstore concept, the best communication with consumers and the best e-drugstore.
The contest is organized by the Economic Publishing House, publisher of Cosmetic News and Commercial News (Wydawnictwo Gospodarcze, publisher of “Wiadomości Kosmetyczne” and “Wiadomości Handlowe”).

Rossmann honoured for CSR activities

We received an award in the Love Cosmetics Awards 2019 competition in the #socially responsible company category for the “We help as we can” program. This is a significant social campaign in the cosmetics industry. The 2019 edition was the largest in terms of the number of registered organizations as there were 250 of them. At the end of the year, we will deliver goods to each of them that they will choose from our assortment.
The Love Cosmetics Awards competition focuses on promoting Polish brands, as well as quality, credibility and independence.

Domol: good quality and price

Domol dishwashing liquid, Rossmann's private label, was rated the best by customers in the “Price-quality ratio” survey conducted by the Polish Institute for Quality Research. Also in the overall classification, Domol took a high third place (behind Morning Fresh and Fairy). Customers particularly emphasized its good effect on the hands, ease of dosage and, above all, its affordable price.
The Polish Institute for Quality Research (PIBJA) is an independent research institute specializing in consumer research. PIBJA does not work on behalf of service providers or vendors. The study on dishwashing liquids was conducted from March to April this year using the CAWI method.

Rossmann in the top five changing the world

Rossmann ranked very high, fifth, among the “meaningful” brands present in Poland - that is, brands that are perceived by consumers as brands that change the world for the better. These were the results of the 2019 Meaningful Brands survey conducted by Havas Group.
Poles selected the following for the top five “world-changing brands.” Google, Nivea, Allegro, YouTube and Rossmann. More than half of those surveyed (54 percent) believe that brands have a greater role to play in improving the world than governments or politicians.
The Meaningful Brands survey has been conducted in 31 countries since 2009.

Rossmann with an award for expansion

This is yet another distinction for expansion on the Polish market. At the 11th edition of the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards, we received the title of Speciality Retailer.
The competition honoured companies and individuals who had the greatest impact on development in the trade sector over the past year. Awards were given in 33 categories, and the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards have been gathering the most important representatives of the retail and real estate market from Central and Eastern Europe for 11 years.

Rossmann as the best drugstore

In the eyes of our customers, we are consistently the best drugstore in Poland. In the ranking of all retail chains, we are the runner-up. These are the results of a report by OC&C, which examined consumer perception of the chain in 2018. We ranked high both in terms of product range and prices (functional factor) and the bonds we managed to build in relationships with customers (emotional factor). This translates into a high, second position in the overall assessment of the 55 leading retail chains in Poland that were surveyed (4,000 people participated).

Digital Excellence Awards

Rossmann was awarded in the Customer Experience category. This stemmed from launching the Rossmann PL application, which enables customers to use the click & collect service and provides them with customised offers. In order to ensure the success of the application, the team of Rossmann IT Centre, supported by the Marketing Department, consolidated and automated over 30 systems, such as: ERP, WMS, CRM, electronic payment system, cash register systems, and service desk.

Drogeria Roku (Beauty Supply Store of the Year)

Rossmann won the Beauty Supply Store of the Year title in as many as three categories: the most innovative beauty supply store concept, the best communication with consumers, and the best online beauty supply store. The winners were announced during the ceremonial gala concluding the FMCG Market Congress. The Beauty Supply Store of the Year contest is organised for beauty supply store chains, while the prizes are awarded by a jury consisting of over 20 managers from well-known cosmetics industry companies. The originator of the contest is Wydawnictwo Gospodarcze, the publisher of “Wiadomości Kosmetyczne” and “Wiadomości Handlowe”.

Specialty Retailer over 450 sqm

The company was awarded as a specialist in the retail industry with stores having the surface area of more than 450 square metres. The second award - “Loyalty Programme” was received by the company for the introduction and functioning of the Rossmann Club. This discount program can be joined by installing the Rossmann PL application. The statuette was awarded during the EuropaProperty CEE Retail Awards gala.

Lider Informatyki (IT Leader)

The contest was organised by the editorial office of the esteemed Computerworld magazine. It awarded innovative IT implementations that translated into business advantages for companies. The jury distinguished the project of the Rossmann IT Centre in the “Commerce and services” category. The first prized was secured by the so-called project accelerator. It is an innovative organisational solution that - to put it simply - allowed doing away with queues of projects awaiting implementation and facilitated selection of the highest prioritised and most valuable ones.

Top Marka (Top Brand)

Rossmann was named the strongest brand among beauty supply stores and pharmacies. The company had no competition, particularly when it came to the number of texts and mentions in the media, according to the survey conducted by the “Press” bimonthly. 50 different industries were taken into consideration. When creating the brand strength index, the editorial office took the following into account: the number of publications regarding a given brand (Rossmann was mentioned as many as 104 000 times), their range, and the number of positive mentions. In the survey conducted in 2019, Rossmann took the 1st rank once again.

Meaningful Brands

The Meaningful Brands report was prepared by Havas Media Group. According to the Polish people, Rossmann: makes their life easier, helps them stay healthy, helps save time and money, and teaches new skills. The company ranked 3rd on the list. In 2019 it took the 5th rank.

Mobile Trends Awards

Rossmann was granted this award for the Rossmann PL mobile application. The jury of the contest, consisting of experts with long-standing ties to the mobile industry, recognised its high quality and the method of introducing it to the market, which employed off-line activities. The competitors of Rossmann PL for the title of the best application were: Starbucks CEE, Mój Carrefour, Empik Foto, and GreenVelo - Wschodni Szlak Rowerowy. The company was also recognised by Internet users in a special survey. They ranked Rossmann PL second, right behind mBank PL and ahead of Filmweb, in the best application of the year category.

Digital Leader of the Year

This award found its way into the hands of representatives of the Rossmann IT Centre. It was awarded for implementation of a modern e-commerce solution for customers. The system created by developers of Rossmann connects the on-line world to the off-line line. Customers who place their order through the www.rossmann.pl website can collect it at any brick-and-mortar Rossmann store they choose in up to three hours. The statuettes were awarded during the annual “What’s Next” conference organised by CIONET Polska. The jury awarded the projects that were characterised by high quality, extensive scope of implementation, and positive impact on company image.

Indeks Patriotyzmu Polskiego Biznesu (Polish Business Patriotism Index)

The jury of the contest evaluated highly: the amount of taxes paid by Rossmann in Poland, the number of employees, and the extent of investments within the country. The company’s dedication to supporting Polish culture and education was recognised, as well as its charitable activities. The contest was organised by the editorial office of “Rzeczpospolita” daily, and Fundacja Patriotyzmu Gospodarczego (Economic Patriotism Foundation). The jury considered: taxes paid, number of employees, investments, research and development expenditures, and sponsoring and charitable activity. Rossmann was nominated to the main prize, and in the category of companies “with foreign capital participation”.

Wielka Perła (Great Pearl)

Rossmann received this award during the Gala of the Pearls of the Polish Economy. It won in the category of Polish enterprises with annual revenue at the level of over 1 billion PLN. The contest was organised by the publisher of Polish Market, an English language monthly magazine. The ranking was prepared in collaboration with the Decision Support and Analysis Unit of the Econometrics Institute of SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The Pearls for business were distributed in three categories: enterprises with annual income between 100 million and 1 billion PLN, enterprises with annual revenue of over 1 billion PLN, and financial sector enterprises.

Speciality Retailer

This title was awarded to Rossmann for its expansion in Poland. The statuette was awarded during the Retailers’ Awards ceremonial gala. This event was participated by the most important representatives of the commerce and real estate markets from Central and Eastern Europe. The jury consisted of 70 people, representing investors and developers, among others. The prizes were awarded in over 30 categories.

Forbes’ Diamonds

The company was included on the prestigious list of Forbes’ Diamonds. This ranking is elaborated on the basis of Swiss method of company value appraisal. The details of enterprise value appraisal and enterprise value increase measurement methodologies were prepared by analysts from Bisnode Polska in cooperation with the editorial office of “Forbes”. Rossmann was included on the list of enterprises with revenue of over 250 million PLN. The company managed to repeat this result in 2013.

European Trusted Brands

OC&C Retail Proposition Index

Rossmann is valued among Polish people. The company regularly holds one of the first three places in the annual Retail Proposition Index ranking. The people surveyed keep considering it the best beauty supply store chain in Poland. The greatest advantages of Rossmann are: trust towards clients, quality of service, and the appearance of stores. This ranking is prepared by the OC&C Strategy Consultans consulting company. It is based on a global survey that investigates how retail chains are perceived. It is conducted in 8 countries and encompasses 700 retailers, evaluated by 50 000 consumers.
2012: 3rd place; 2013: 2nd place; 2014: 2nd place; 2015: 2nd place; 2016: 2nd place; 2017: 1st. place; 2018: 2nd place; 2019: 1st place.

Superbrands

Rossmann was included among the brands distinguished in the “shopping” category. The commemorative statuettes were awarded on the basis of combined results of an independent consumer survey and votes cast by members of the Brands Council (established by the Superbrands organisation). The distinctions were received by the companies that enjoy popularity and recognition among clients.
In 2015, Rossmann won another two tiles: “Business Superbrands” for the most recognisable brand, and “Superbrands 2014/15” - for the brand that answers best the expectations of clients.
